WARNING! The Nibbled upon Clown
Second day of applying in class. This week- Creepy/ Sad Clown! One guess as to which one I decided to go for…
This one was much more fun than the happy clown- mostly because I find pretty much every clown creepy, and being able to play that up is almost irresistible!!
Clowns are classic horror figures, and as much as I am in love with the toothy look, I do think it is a little over done (How could it not? Its classic. Plus the show American Horror Story really boosted its popularity once again) So I decided to add a twist- this clown has been nibbled upon by little ferocious children! If that is not scary then I don’t know what is…
Here are a couple of my previous sketches that I decided against. Not that they are actually much different than the final product … what can I say? If I have an idea it is hard for me to stray.
Hope you have a great day! What does your ultimate creepy clown look like?
bonus for you guys- after this look we did Ancient Egyptian Royal Makeup. Yeah, I had to scrub all that white off my face. In minutes. It was painful.
Anyway, here is how that look ended up!
You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to do minimalistic looks! Everything shows up! At least with the creepy clown you could smudge things and it would work with the design.
It is also ridiculous how dark the foundation was on me, but it doesn’t even look like it! (Unless you look at my hairline. Its bad) I think it is the universe telling me that I need to fully embrace my italian self and be tan. all. the. time.
