Clowning Around

I am currently taking a theatrical design class and LOVING IT! Ok, today was honestly our first class of applying makeup, but I already know that I will adore this class.

We were assigned a ‘Happy Clown’, and as I find all clowns to be a little creepy, I figured the only way to make them sweet would to be just that- I used sugar Sprinkles on my lips!lips

This is definitely not a wearable look- seriously, the sprinkles dissolve and slowly slip into your mouth, and onto your chin.

This may be because I used a sticky lip gloss to adhere them to my lips (It seemed less gross then playing with some sort of glue) But hey! It sure looked cool for the few minutes it needed to!

What do you think? Clowns are hard to make original, but I am rather fond of my small spins.

Here I am next to my original game plan. I ended up changing it a little, as creative minds typically do.2015-01-23 16.28.15

Would you like to see the rest of the looks I create throughout the class?2015-01-23 16.29.55

  1. More, more! Give us more! Would love to see more things you do in class. This is probably the cutest clown I’ve ever seen. I love how you blended the cheeks instead of leaving them as perfect circles.

    • Thanks so much Jillian!! I took a strange amount of joy in those cheeks 🙂 I certainly will post more soon! This friday is scary clown, and i am very excited for that!
